Sicilian ceramic half-pigna, shaded blue with a base decorated with traditional floral and geometric motifs. It is handcrafted and hand-painted by the master ceramists of Caltagirone. It can also be made in other colors.
My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is that released by pine trees, especially at sunset here in Sicily, and I've always loved collecting fallen pine cones from their branches, searching for pine nuts. I was reminded of my grandmother's stories, which told me how newlyweds' bedrooms were once decorated with these fruits, to bring fertility and abundance, but also because they were a symbol of the eternity and immortality of love.
