My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is that which emanates from the pine trees, especially at sunset, here in Sicily, and I have always enjoyed collecting the fallen pine cones from their branches, in search of the pine nuts. This would remind me of my grandmother's stories, who told me how the newlywed couple's bedroom was once decorated with these fruits, to wish for fertility and abundance, but also because they were the symbol of eternity and the immortality of love.
