Set of three Sicilian ceramic pine cones in blue, red, and yellow. They are handcrafted and hand-painted by master ceramists from Caltagirone.
They measure 25 cm in height for the turquoise pine cone, 20 cm for the red and yellow ones.
My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is the one that is released from pine trees, especially at sunset, here in Sicily, and it is always liked to collect the pine cones that have fallen from their branches, in search of pine nuts. Then I remembered the stories of my grandmother, who told me how the bedroom of the newlyweds was once decorated with these fruits, to wish fertility and abundance, but also because they were the symbol of eternity and the immortality of love.
