My emotion:
As a child, in the garden of my uncle's house in Palermo, succulents sprouting from red terracotta pots in the shape of Moorish Heads adorned the entrance to the grape-covered driveway. Every time I passed by, I gazed at them with a mixture of uneasiness and fascination. It seemed to me that a life form had crystallized in those strange objects and that at any moment the Moorish Head might come to life and speak.
