Pendant in gold tatting lace and bamboo coral. It is completed by a gold-plated brass chain. It is entirely handmade.
It measures 6 cm by 6 cm, and including the pendant, it measures 11 cm. The chain is 60 cm long.

Skilled hands intent on embroidering precious details: this image accompanied my childhood, like that of so many children here in Sicily.
Under the bright light of the skylight in her home, my grandmother embroidered her precious lace with patience and precision, and I watched in admiration as she created a delicate beauty of shapes and colors.
Embroidery, in Sicily and beyond, was a hobby for women, but also, at times, a means of supporting the family income or becoming financially independent.
