My emotion:
My Christmas has always been a celebration to be lived with family: we had dinner together and then went to Mass to see the baby Jesus born at exactly midnight, when the veil covering the cradle with the precious wooden statue was drawn back and the bells of the Church of San Giovanni began to ring in celebration.
Then we exchanged greetings and went home, knowing that the next day we would all be together again for Christmas lunch.
We children were happy with the joyful atmosphere that surrounded us and the small nativity scene on the chest in the living room, full of colored lights, with the mountains made of painted papier-mâché and the hut covered with moss taken from our garden.
