Elegant lamp with white pine cone base and matching shade. The pine cone measures 35 cm in height, the lampshade has a diameter of 40 cm.
It is made and hand painted by the master potters of Caltagirone.
My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is the one that emanates from pine trees, especially at sunset, here in Sicily, and it is always liked to collect the pine cones that have fallen from their branches, in search of pine nuts. Then I remembered the stories of my grandmother, who told me how the bedroom of the newlyweds was once decorated with these fruits, to wish fertility and abundance, but also because they were the symbol of eternity and the immortality of love.
