My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is that which emanates from the pine trees, especially at sunset, here in Sicily, and I have always enjoyed collecting the fallen pine cones from their branches, in search of the pine nuts. Then I would think of my grandmother's stories, which told me how the newlywed couple's bedroom was once decorated with these fruits, to wish fertility and abundance, but also because they were the symbol of eternity and the immortality of love.
