Beautiful red pine cone in Sicilian ceramic, with a base decorated with a checkered pattern and leaves. It is made and hand-painted by the master ceramists of Caltagirone.

My emotion:
One of my favorite scents is that which emanates from the pine trees, especially at sunset, here in Sicily, and I have always loved collecting the pine cones that have fallen from their branches, in search of the pine nuts. Then I would think of the stories of my grandmother, who told me how the newlywed couple's bedroom was once decorated with these fruits, to wish fertility and abundance, but also because they were the symbol of eternity and the immortality of love.
